Join Us at First United: A Place for Everyone in the Heart of Oak Park

All are welcome to worship with us at First United. We’d like to make it as easy as possible for you to join us. We are conveniently located in the heart of Oak Park at 848 Lake St.

Come As You Are

Our worship each week includes song, prayer, learning, silence, and giving. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building before and after worship. There’s no dress code — we welcome those in blue jeans to sport jackets and everything in between. All are welcome to partake in the sacrament of Communion, regardless of faith background. Enter through the main Lake Street doors, the rear parking lot doors, or the wheelchair-accessible ramp from Kenilworth Avenue. If you have any questions, please ask a minister, greeter, or member. Music & More

Each week, we offer harmonies by our choir, music from our Casavant pipe organ, and congregational singing of hymns. Vocal and instrumental musicians are encouraged to share their gifts in the choir or through any of the other musical opportunities.
